The Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority (ECCAA) hereby solicits comments from the general public on the proposed Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations.

The aim of the Regulations is to ensure compliance with Annex 17 to the Chicago Convention which deals with the increasingly important area of Aviation Security. The regulations will give legal force to and ensure compliance with established aviation security standards which are already observed by airlines, airports and other entities in the civil aviation industry such as cargo and catering operators.

The proposed regulations along with an explanatory memorandum have been posted on the ECCAA website www.eccaa.aero. You are encouraged to submit any comments or proposed amendments in writing to the following address:
