Under the Treaty of Basseterre (RTB, 1981) and now The Revised RTB (2010), Member States agree to cooperate with each other and promote unity and solidarity, including participation by Protocol Members in an Economic Union.

Assignment Title: Consultancy for the Audit of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project for the periods July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 and July 1, 2025 to October 22, 2026

The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission has received funding from the World Bank toward the cost of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project (CARDTP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the Consultancy for the Audit of the Caribbean Digital Transformation Project for the periods July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 and July 1, 2025 to October 22, 2026.

The overall objective of this engagement is to allow the auditor to express a professional opinion on the project financial statement as to whether they are free from material misstatements and are prepared in accordance with stipulated accounting standards, the eligibility of expenditures, compliance with applicable laws, regulations and financial clauses of the trust fund agreement and to report on the adequacy and adherence of the internal controls.

EASTERN CARIBBEAN SUSTAINABLE TERRESTRIAL AND MARINE ECOSYSTEMS PROJECT


REGIONAL CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT

REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

The Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Commission has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to one million, six hundred and seventy thousand, two hundred and thirty-two United States dollars (USD1,670,232) towards the cost of the implementation of the Eastern Caribbean Sustainable Terrestrial and Marine Ecosystems Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under contracts for which this invitation is issued.  Payments by CDB will be made only at the request of the OECS Commission and upon approval by CDB and will be subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement.  The Financing Agreement prohibits withdrawal from the financing account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.  No party other than the OECS Commission shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing.

The OECS Commission, the Executing Agency, now wishes to procure Consultancy Services for a Procurement Consultant.

Collaborative Initiative between the ECCAA's Legal Department and the St. Vincent and the Grenadines'

On the 28th -30th day of May 2024 the ECCAA Legal Officer visited the St. Vincent and the Grenadines' Ministry of Legal Affairs to provide legal support in the aid of  having the remaining ANS Regulations reviewed and gazetted.

This novel initiative employed by the ECCAA is to establish and foster a more inclusive approach to assist the Member States in achieving harmonized legislation in relation to Civil Aviation

DSAC & ECCAA Cooperation

 

 

 

On Wednesday 28th February 2024, members of the ECCAA Flight Safety Division teamed up with SAFA Inspectors from the DGAC to carry out a joint Ramp Inspection at the V. C. Bird International Airport (Ramp Inspections are inspections of operational aircraft on the ramp).

This exchange is one of the many collaborative activities planned between the two organizations.
